My name is Louis Elliott, but most people call me Luigi. I chose this name because it was my grandfathers, and his fathers. I never met my Grandfather but my mom tells me he was an amazing man; a skilled jazz pianist and musician who died when my mom was only twelve years old. His father was a classical composer. I have always had such a passion for music written deep within my soul. I was told from a young age to follow my heart, leading to many circumstances that are exemplary of choosing my heart over my mind; from ditching school in first grade to be with my “Girlfriend”, to ultimately dropping out of high school to pursue my music and passions. I have followed my Lion Heart into some sticky situations and through many seemingly dark times, but music has always been there. Never once have I doubted the divine purpose and place I belong, knowing always that it is in music. I believe that music at times can be all we have; music is where we’re going to and where we come from.

To me, music is home. Throughout my life I have consistently rediscovered an in depth understanding of compassion and an undying love for all beings. I have yet to find a way to share this love with the world truly. I make music today because it is the only way I can even scratch the surface of beginning to share the love I have to give. It is the only way I’ve found to communicate with the world, and my loved ones. Music and love to me are the answers to all of my questions. I believe that everyone who creates music should have the opportunity to share it. I only hope to learn and create more and more in an attempt to one day share my love with the world, and share my abilities and opportunities with fellow artists.
